Well, after watching these two candidates vie for the "highest office on earth" as the pundits like to call it, let me say that I found it to be a disgusting exercise on both candidates parts of telling obvious, verifiable, lies. I am wondering what the *median* family income (that's not the 'mean' average so-often quoted - but the actual family income dead in the middle) is in America. And how does that compare with some other industrialized nations, or major trading partners of the US, such as: Britian, Canada, Australia, Japan, France, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Singapore. I just finished reading a fascinating look at real or purported media basis in the news media, over here. Link . Very interesting and informative and definitely seems to show that there is a liberal basis to most news organizations. Since the Republicans have captured the White House in 16 of the last 24 years, but liberal news media outsells conservative news media by a 10 or 20 to 1 ratio, I'm left with the conclusion that liberalism sells.
