Just like the computer models and climatologists predicted two decades ago, increased hurricane activity is one major sign that global warming is here, now. If Frances hits major landfall, it is predicted to become the most destructive hurricane in recorded human history.

Well, it's pretty lucky that Frances was downgraded to a Cat 2 storm before it hit the Florida coast. Can you imagine the destruction if it had stayed as a Cat 4 storm (like it was in the ocean) when it came ashore?
